Who We are

 
 

La Neta Murals was formed in 2020 when 5 individual artists found each other on their search for creative community and motivation. Founded in the Monterey Bay, La Neta has come together with the mission of bringing art to the public and representing the true inspiration and beauty within our communities.

La Neta’s name comes from the Mexican street term “neta” which translates to “truth” and is used casually as an affirmative expression. La Neta chose this name because it symbolizes an underlying truth that can be seen through art and connects to the Latinx heritage within the group’s identity.

La Neta was founded by Arsenio Baca, Natalia Corazza, Avelino Sanher, Gerardo Zambrano and Sea Sevilla. The mural company is currently run by Arsenio Baca, Natalia Corazza, Avelino Sanher and Gerardo Zambrano.
