King City Flow

King City Downtown Plaza, CA 2024

“King City Flow” is a mural that measures 40 feet 2 inches wide and14 ft 10 tall, done with acrylic paint and spray paint on concrete. Located in the heart of King City, this mural takes inspiration from the local culture and landscape. The scene depicted is of a baile folklorico dancer camouflaged with the surrounding hills. Her dress spills an arrangement of native wildflowers that are carried off through the wind across the colorful vineyards and fields. The installment of the mural included the engagement of local artists including: Gustavo Perez, Jude Yriarte, Bryan Valdez, Zitlali Villagomez Monroy, Yesenia Chavez, and Debra Cobb.
